Hi again, and Happy New Year,
2012 did zoom by, wouldn't you say? I am just grateful it is over. It's as though everyone wanted to try out all their end-of-the-world theories on one year. That was too much. We had the Mayan, then that Pastor, and even some smaller groups, had a use-by-date for the world to expire. I thank God for mercies that we are hear and made it past 2012.
For me, It was most exciting since we finally opened the doors at Emerald Square Mall, and also launched the website as well.
One big thing I noticed this year is how much my cellphone played in sharing Holiday greetings. It used to be that I spent the holiday season opening envelopes and searching for space in my living room to display the cards. This year was somehow different.
We still got the cards, but the smartphones all of a sudden were beeping with text messages and Greeting Card apps. and emails. The text messages used to be mostly well-intended but cheesy messages. This year, people seem to have found the right niche of creativity for the messages. I was so touched by one of the messages I even re-texted it to my some of my friends. (That's never happened before.)
Anyway, I guess smartphones are really changing the way we connect. Guess what, our web design folks at Avid Database Solutions also hooked us up with a website that looks fantastic on smartphone.
Do me a favor, please check it out by visiting www.beeceesSophistikat.com on your smartphone and let me know what you think. I am hoping that you can have the same excellent shopping experience on whatever screen you choose: Smartphone, Tablet, or even you good old PC.
2013 is probably going to see shopping...

While these points are focused on men's belts, they are also good advice for caring for other leather goods such as Ladies ( Leather strap + metal buckle ) belts; Leather shoes; hats; and leather jackets. Now, the care of Suede is a separate matter we will tackle in a separate article.
Looking for the proper care of your nice leather handbags? Did I hear you ask "How do I care for my BeeCees handbags?"
Well, in this blog post, I hope we can come to an agreement on caring for your handbags and keep them looking their best, and functioning perfectly for a long time.
BeeCees Handbags are built with love and attention to detail. You have made an excellent choice in buying these bags. It is only fitting that we go over the caring for them.
Since they are not all made of the same material, we will first separate them into categories by type of material, then explain how to take proper care of the handbags.
Before we go any further, first I want to say these:
As much as possible, try to keep your hands clean when handling leather handbags. Leather absorbs oils and moisture very easily.
For general cleaning, wipe that leather tote or hobo with damp cotton cloth. The operative word there is "damp" not wet. We are not looking to soak the leather, just moisten it. Ok, with that out of the way, here we go:
A different cleaning routine applies to patent (non-leather) leather and swede.
Caring for Your Leather Handbags:
- Always use leather cleaners.
- Apply the leather cleaner using a circular motion.
- Wipe off leather cleaner with a damp cloth so as not to clog the pores of the fabric.
- Generally, do this type of cleaning two to three times a year.
- (Don't bother using conditioner on patent leather)
Remove stains as soon as you notice them. Organic stains from food or blood can often be removed with chalk powder. Crush white chalk, let it sit on the stain overnight and...
